We are seeking Expressions of Interests for an Administration Superstar to join the Residential Services team. The Administration Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and reception support to the residential villages. You will be the first point of call for residents, visitors and contractors visiting the village, providing all with a warm, friendly, and personable approach. This role will work closely with the Administration Manager and collaboratively with the wider administration and rostering teams and departments across the villages.

This role is based at Bangalow Village, working Monday to Friday

What will I be doing as the Administration Assistant?

  • Provide a friendly face to welcome all visitors, contractors, staff and residents to the village
  • Communicate regularly with the Positive Living Manager to ensure the smooth running of the village
  • Carry out administrative duties, including accounts payable and receivable, collating reports, data entry, plus much more
  • Maintain filing and office systems in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements
  • Undertake meetings/workshops in a secretarial duties including the recording of attendance, meeting minutes and reflecting into appropriate databases
  • Provide support to the wider leadership team including the Positive Living Manager, Home Accommodation Manager and General Manager as required
  • Work with the Positive Living Manager to ensure all rostered shifts are filled at the village

Essential boxes to tick:

  • Previous Admin experience in a similar role - preferably in an Aged care facility (or similar)
  • Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) with exception attention to detail
  • Demonstrated time management, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Well developed computer skills including proficient using Microsoft programs (word, excel and outlook)
  • Effective interpersonal skills and competence in liaising with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Unrestricted Australian driver's licence
  • Current Flu Vaccination and Covid-19 Vaccination
