What you'll be doing
The Emergency Department (ED) administration officer provides a range of administrative and support services to ensure an effective and efficient service is maintained with a strong customer focused approach.

 

 

 

How to Apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to function as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a busy and demanding environment.
  • The ability to organise and set work priorities to meet department benchmarks and KPI’s
  • Demonstrated high level of computer literacy including proficient keyboard and data entry skills with knowledge of hospital information systems (EMR).
  • Proven experience in a frontline customer service role and the ability to effectively use problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Previous experience with revenue and fees management.
  • Willingness and ability to work a 24hr 7day rotating roster.
