Advancement Customer Experience Asset Creator

The UTS Office of the Vice President Advancement is currently seeking an Advancement Customer Experience Asset Creator to be responsible for moving stakeholders through the Advancement Customer Journey by curating and producing a portfolio of assets to meet philanthropic and alumni strategic goals.

The primary disciplines of Advancement at UTS include: fundraising, alumni and community relations and advancement services. Importantly, these activities are all interconnected and the Advancement Customer Experience Asset Creator will utilise the Advancement Customer Experience (ACX) Strategy to build and nurture Advancement relationships with UTS at each lifecycle stage, and deliver high quality, winning fundraising pitches and proposals, mass and bespoke appeals, events, engagement and stewardship materials.

If successful, you will;

  • Ensure Advancement customers receive a consistent, distinctive experience with a clear value proposition which keeps them involved and invested
  • Produce and curate Advancement assets that are consistent with relevant UTS policies and guidelines, the Advancement brand, and subject to continuous improvement
  • Create and coordinate the production of high quality content for internal and external audiences, rich in text, film, visuals and audio, for mass and bespoke fundraising, and alumni campaigns and projects
  • Promote and generate opportunities for creative thinking and innovation for the Advancement Customer Experience and translate ideas into improvements

With examples, please outline in a separate document how you meet the following seven (7) key selection criteria points below:

  • Superior graphic design and digital production skills
  • High level MS Office and full Adobe Creative suite skill set
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to initiate projects, work independently and flexibly, manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience with web content management, eDM and CRM database systems
  • An effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively and persuasively across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, with a constant focus on customer outcomes
  • Best practice in digital and non-digital asset development
  • Extensive experience in customer service and in developing and managing charitable appeals, engagement or loyalty marketing campaigns


Base Salary Range: $92,791 to $102,650 pa (HEW 7)

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
