The Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit (NMWU) at Western Health - Williamstown campus, is seeking highly motivated Allocations Officers for both temporary part-time positions (6-8 days per fortnight to end June 2022) and casual positions ongoing. Working closely with the NMWU management team, the allocators role is to source and match available staff to declared nursing and midwifery roster vacancies in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring appropriately skilled staff are providing the best care to our patients.

To be successful in this role you need:

    • Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

    • Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently and effectively

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    • Computer literacy with fast and accurate data entry skills

    • Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills

    • Flexible and positive attitude

    • Able to work a rotating roster 7 days a week, including public holidays

    • Be able to work a variety of shift times including a 0500-1330 shift and a 1400-2230 shift 7 days a week.
