Demand for KPMG’s Sourcing & Procurement Advisory (SPA) service line which sits within KPMG’s Management Consulting practice has led to the creation of the Associate Director position to grow KPMG’s Sourcing & Procurement Advisory capabilities in Canberra.

The focus will be on supporting technology and services transformation across the Public Sector, we are therefore seeking someone with a strong technology and services delivery background.

 
 

 

Your Opportunity

Primarily, your responsibilities will be focused on:

  • Executing key activities agreed in the business plan including marketing, client targeting, recruitment and introduction of new services;
  • Growing KPMG’s Sourcing & Procurement Advisory services through sales of services to new and existing clients. This includes building client relationships, formulating solutions and proposal development;
  • Formulating and leading KPMG teams to delivery multiple sourcing engagements.
  • Participating in the development of KPMG’s profile and presence in the sourcing industry from both a client and media perspective;

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

  • Significant experience in Sourcing Advisory from a consulting or industry business;
  • In-depth understanding of the sourcing lifecycle and associated risks;
  • Leading sales pursuits that has resulted in new sourcing advisory or IT delivery business;
  • Experience across a number of the following capabilities: developing and running end-to-end sourcing selection processes (RFP’s), negotiation of service agreements, providing transition support, as well as vendor management and due diligence;
  • Gained experience in Technology Evaluation would be advantageous;
  • A working knowledge of common industry methodologies e.g. ITIL, lean;
  • Proven experience of working on multiple simultaneous engagements where managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines are key.
