A bit about the role
The Collections Support Librarian is a new role with a key focus on Inter-Library Loans, purchasing and database support. You will be delivering and developing best practice management in these areas.
You will assist in the maintenance and acquisition of the Library collection, including providing timely responses to community requests. Utilising your passion and expertise in collections, you will also develop and deliver training material on readers advisory and collection services.
As a Library service we have been rapidly expanding to meet the needs of our growing community, and we are looking to take our Library collections to the next level to meet this demand. You will be instrumental in promoting, training and innovating across all of our library services in regard to collections skills and knowledge.
