As Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Advisor you are part of a small team that provides strategies, advice and programs in support of a safe, healthy environment for work and study, and are responsible for the effective delivery of a range of HSE services to promote a safety culture and environmental policies and procedures throughout the University.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) conducting workplace HSE inspections, assessments and audits and providing reports on findings, maintaining records, assisting with the ongoing maintenance of HSE policies, procedures, guidelines and associated material with a commitment to continuous improvement.
To be successful, you require a degree or equivalent qualifications with extensive HSEQ experience, including a minimum of four years working in the field of Work (Occupational) Health and Safety and/or Environment and Sustainability and Quality and demonstrated knowledge of legislation and regulations, standards, code of practice, corporate goals and industry best practice.
