About us
The Victim Services Support Operations team within VSSR includes the delivery of specific services, including the Victims of Crime Helpline, the Victims Register, as well as funding the state-wide Victims Assistance Program to provide eligible victims with flexible case management services to meet their practical, emotional and psychological needs to help manage the effects of crime.
About the role
The role of the Helpline Operations Manager is to manage the day-to-day operations of the Helpline, provide direct line supervision to the Helpline Supervisors, Family Violence Practice Leads and Victim Support Officers, support complex cases, priority initiatives and operational tasks and undertake on-call work as required. In addition, the Helpline Operations Manager participates in strategic and policy work within VSSR as it relates to the Helpline and the broader victim services network.
The role will work to increase awareness of issues pertaining to crime victimisation and promote evidence-based reforms to achieve required improvements in victim and system outcomes.
