To support SWIFT's ambition for continued expansion within the Oceania region, we are looking for a Relationship Manager to further enhance our strategic partnership with the key customers and Market Infrastructures. Working in close collaboration with the Asia Pacific Markets, Products and Consultancy teams, your key objectives will be to deliver solutions to meet customer requirements, deepen relationships, grow revenue and achieve sales targets.

 

What to expect:

  • Identify customer needs, market opportunities and achieve business growth by building and maintaining long term relationships primarily with large strategic accounts.
  • Achieve personal sales targets as assigned by the regional head of sales. Develop and execute account sales plans for SWIFT’s key customers and Market Infrastructures in the Oceania region.
  • Identify and work on market wide initiatives that help bring benefits to the SWIFT community and new revenue streams to SWIFT.
  • Act as a single point of contact for key clients providing expertise where able and brokering conversations with product and solutions experts where more specialized knowledge is required.
  • Represent SWIFT and promote products and services in order to grow our business by participating to regional events and forums.
  • Liaise with various internal parties to provide a coordinated service and integrated solution to assigned customers and feedback internally market intelligence, product issues and other relevant information.

 

What will make you successful

  • At least 10 years of experience in sales and relationship management, of which 5 years were within the financial services industry in Australia.
  • A strong understanding of the Australian banking and payments industry is a must
  • Familiarity of the main clearing and settlement systems is a big advantage (i.e. HVCS, BECS, NPP)
  • Capital markets industry expertise will be an advantage
  • A proven track record of achieving against targets
  • An ability to work with colleagues from other teams, geographies and cultures
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise and convincing written and verbal communication and powerful presentations and speeches
  • Technical skills or background is an advantage
  • Fluent spoken and written English
