About the role

We are on the lookout for some talented Customer Service Consultants to join our Land Development team where you can expect to investigate and provide sustainable resolution to our customers’ enquiries and manage all administrative tasks relating to Land Development, Property and Metering. You will also be involved in the processing of Residential Development applications as par to of this role.

The main requirements include:

  • Providing general advice on land development, plumbing requirements, pricing and subdivision matters for developments within Yarra Valley Water’s area
  • Responding to telephone and email enquiries
  • Working with metering contractor and internal departments to resolve enquiries relevant to the land development applications
  • Supporting customers with their enquiries so that they understand the requirements for their development

About you?

  • Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours a week Monday – to Friday between the hours 8am - 5pm
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service
  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship skills including the ability to make outbound calls and manage inbound customer enquiries
  • Aptitude to review plans, including site/elevation plans, hydraulic plans in order to process and complete land development applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with stakeholders including senior management, customers, consultants and contractors
  • Demonstrated excellence in time management skills, communication skills and MS Office tools
  • The ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
  • The ability to navigate and utilize multiple systems to manage workloads
  • Knowledge of land development whilst preferred is not essential as training will be provided
