  • Commencement Salary: $71,205 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

 



The Student Engagement Unit (SEU) is responsible for the strategic development and delivery of student facing services that will enhance the on-campus and off-campus student experience for all students. The SEU also takes strategic steps to inform the quality of the student experience of learning and teaching, support services, the learning environment and student facilities.

About the Role

Responsible for coordination of a University-wide Peer Assisted Study Session (PASS) program, this position’s core responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the design, implementation, administrative systems, activities and evaluation of the PASS program
  • Develop strategies for the recruitment of UniSA students to the PASS program
  • Develop and implement a training module for the PASS Leaders and Mentors
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with Academic Units and relevant SEU teams
  • Supervise PASS Leaders and Mentors including determining work priorities, providing professional development opportunities and monitoring and regularly reviewing the performance of all team members


Essential Skills and Experience


  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience managing learning programs for students from diverse socio-economic, educational and cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrated experience supervising a team in a higher education environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
