We are seeking an experienced Reconciliation Officer to join the team.

Job Description

About the role:

  • Ensure the integrity of the payments system is maintained through the timely and accurate reconciliation of direct debits and credit card transactions
  • Manage the flow of data between the company’s banking system and the collection database
  • Daily reconciliation of cash transactions
  • Reconcile payment made by third parties
  • Assist staff from various internal departments with enquiries relating to payments
  • Assist with the investigation of payments and adjustments made to accounts on request
  • Trust accounts reconciliation
  • Monthly invoicing
  • Debtor management, following up outstanding invoices and review of ageing reports
  • Bank reconciliations within the accounting system

Desired Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate:

  • Prior experience in Receivables/Reconciliation Officer position, preferably background in high volume transactions
  • Dedication to continuous improvement, including research and adoption of new tools and systems to improve accuracy and automation
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative team
  • Experience dealing with EOM deadlines
