Research Assistant (Antarctic Fisheries)
The School of Fisheries and Aquaculture is dedicated to seeking knowledge and innovation to provide adequate and sustainable nutrition to an increasing world population.
This position will assist with FRDC project 2020-097 and primarily focus on at sea sample collection, and laboratory work for histology and otolith ageing of toothfish, as well as sampling and sorting of sea lice. The position provides an opportunity to work across university, government and industry organisations to contribute science outcomes for international fisheries management.

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $80,122 comprising base salary within the range of $64,643 to $68,480 plus 17% superannuation.
