St Joseph’s is a Catholic Primary school within a vibrant and caring community, committed to providing quality Catholic Education for families in the Schofields area, in a safe and supportive environment. Together with St John Paul II Catholic College, Schofields we provide a continuous, faith-centred education for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

We are seeking an Administration Officer with communications and promotions experience to support the business and clerical requirements of the school during Terms 1 and 2, 2022. The Administration Officer - Communications and Promotions will be the friendly and professional face of our school.

The Administration Officer - Communications and Promotions is accountable for:

  • A wide range of professional support, administration, secretarial and clerical duties, including typing, word processing, data entry, maintaining email and computerised records, database information, Google applications and student information

  • Undertaking reception and general office duties

  • Responding to enquiries from students, parents, employees, and the general public

  • Assisting with management of the school office

  • Assisting with the preparation of internal and external publications including school websites, newsletters and other media;

  • Assisting with the promotion and coordination of school functions and events

  • Promotion of school enrolments and open days/school tours

Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CEDP’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
