The Sterilisation Services Attendant is responsible for a high standard of work, providing a timely efficient and effective general service and undertaking duties in a range of activities in areas as described in this duty statement.

This role carries out a range of sterilising operations which result in the timely and efficient supply of equipment, instruments, medical/surgical consumables and anaesthetic equipment to the hospital. Employees at this level will have demonstrated experience in the perioperative and Sterilisation Services department with knowledge of instruments, sterilising methods and infection control principles.

Previous experience in sterilization role will be extremely beneficial in applying for this role.

This role may be engaged to work at either Flinders Medical Centre or Noarlunga Hospital.
