About Key Assets:
Key Assets is a non-government, not-for-profit children’s services agency and part of the International Key Assets Group, a leading children’s services provider with more than 20 years’ experience in a range of children’s services including supporting foster carers, children and young people in care.
Key Assets was founded in Australia in 2007 and has grown to provide foster care and related services in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and Victoria.
We strive to continue our work in developing an innovative range of services for children and young people in out-of-home care, while partnering with statutory bodies and foster carers to understand and meet their unique needs, helping them to succeed.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will provide a high-level leadership role to Social Workers, including supervision, support and coaching to ensure that high quality practice is achieved in line with Key Assets vision and values. You will be a key member of the State Leadership Team, with the responsibility of leading operations and specific programs relevant to Key Assets business. The role will have a focus on continued and safe growth of our services whilst ensuring our foster carers are supported so our young people thrive and live safe and fulfilling lives.
About You:
You have a strong knowledge of child protection and out-of-home care sector and demonstrated experience and commitment to a high standard of practice with a passion for ensuring quality and integrity in all that you do. You have leadership qualities and the ability to support your team to provide a high quality of service whilst keeping the children, young people, and foster carers at the forefront of what you do. It is important you are agile, innovative, and responsive to your team. The successful candidate will have a high level of ability to partner with the State Leadership Team and other key members in the business.
Additionally, you have relevant degree qualifications in Social Work, or the Human Services Field and experience working in a complex and challenging environment and have effectively led and managed a team.
Ultimately, your skills, experience and knowledge enable you to successfully achieve the responsibilities and outcomes required of the role.
