The position of Training Manager, Customer Experience forms a part of the Corporate Services and Delivery Group.

The Delivery Group supports the effective and efficient delivery of high priority departmental projects and grant programs, from program design and sequencing, through to development, delivery, monitoring and program close. In so doing, the Delivery Group ensures the delivery of programs that are critical to the Victorian community and economy.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in a Business Transformation environment particularly in the creation and delivery of training materials and change management practices both face to face and digitally.

The position works closely with a wide variety of departmental, government and industry stakeholders to support the design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of business programs and initiatives within the Delivery Group of the Department.

The key accountabilities of the role are:

  • Engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a complex environment, working as part of a Transformational Program team, working closely with the Process Improvement and Performance Reporting Analyst in the Customer Experience team.
  • Develop and execute training needs analysis, training plans, curriculum development and to tailor and deliver Train-the-Trainer with the business including, learning briefs, storyboarding, training module development and reviews with relevant stakeholders.
  • Management of the development, design and currency of training materials, definining and measuring the effectiveness of training solutions and implement mitigations where necessary, including engaging with senior stakeholders on progress, issues and roadblocks.
  • Oversee training implementation management including scheduling, training distribution logistics management and team compliance. Ensuring best in class change management protocols and processes are developed and implemented.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement additional training for the Customer Experience team which facilitates engagement and personal development.
