This is a targeted role for people with disability through the program: ElevateAbility. This program provides an opportunity for people with disability to gain an employment opportunity at the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, specifically working for the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT). ElevateAbility provides the successful candidate a buddy and mentor to help them with their onboarding and development journey.
As Administration Officer you will provide a range of administrative functions and related support to administration staff and other team members to enable the efficient operation of the work unit and facilitate the Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT) to achieve its strategic objectives.
This is a targeted role under GSE Rule 26 and people with disability (as defined in Disability Discrimination Act 1992) are encouraged to apply.

About Our Team
The Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT) is established under Part 10 of the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016. The BCT’s roles are to:
Support and encourage landholders to enter agreements to conserve and protect biodiversity on private land, guided by the government’s Biodiversity Conservation Investment Strategy; and
Secure biodiversity offsets when developers choose to pay into the Biodiversity Conservation Fund; and other activities that promote greater awareness, appreciation and understanding of, biodiversity and the importance of conserving it.
