The position of Administration Support Officer Eating Disorders Outpatient Service exists within the Mental Health Service and is a part time position of 28 hours per week worked over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
The position has dual reporting lines, reporting operationally to the Manager Eating Disorders Outpatient Service and professionally to the Team Leader for Community Administration Support Services, Community Mental Health. The position is located within the Toukley Health Centre and is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administrative support to the Eating Disorders Outpatient Service.
The Administrative Support Officer provides a range of administrative services to support the achievement of the Eating Disorders Outpatient Service outcomes in a timely, reliable and efficient manner. This includes, but not limited to, the facilitating administration systems, processes and procedures to improve efficiency in accordance LHD policies, procedures and standards, providing an information service to clients and the general public and effectively liaising with all disciplines of the health professionals and community teams.
The position also coordinates information flow between potential consumers and their GP's to access the service. This position plays an important coordination role in organising appointments and obtaining information from GP's to assist the treating clinician and also provides direct administration support to the Manager Eating Disorders Outpatient Service and assists in the coordination of meetings and appointments.
