Our Defence and Social Infrastructure team service the Australian Defence Force by providing strategic asset maintenance for all assets pertaining to its social infrastructures. This includes a Project Support Services team which ensures the high quality & smooth operation of our service for the ADF.

 

 

We have a newly created position for an Asset Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne VIC, this is a great opportunity for those seeking stability in an industry that has been unaffected by COVID. The primary focus of this role is to ensure all project asset data deliverables are compliant with Defence Standards/Specifications and requirements and uploaded to the relevant systems in a timely manner.

 

 

Other responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support the Lead Asset Coordinator to manage asset data systems
  • Contribute to data collection and analysis
  • Drive accuracy in reporting through existing reporting tools such as Power Bi, Ventia SAP Assist with the training of staff and stakeholders in the use of Defence systems to access and update relevant estate information
  • Provide training to project stakeholders on data management, including standardisation for data collection
  • Liaise with site PSS coordinators, service lines, and regional commercial representatives.
  • Coordinate the capture of maintenance, land management and& soft services tasks through commercial provided systems/tools (templates)

 

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Tertiary qualification and/or significant experience in Asset Management, especially asset data collection and/or maintenance of asset registers.
  • Demonstrated personal management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
  • Demonstrated written communication and IT skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office suite, especially, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
