Our Donor Services team within the National Contact Centre (NCC) is a critical function that influences the end-to-end blood donor experience in collaboration with our Donor Centres across Australia. Each week the NCC secures blood donation appointments to enable the delivery of the safe and reliable supply of blood products to the Australian Community.

This is an exciting role that is beyond the usual provision of support to our omni-channel National Contact Centre. We are looking for a consultant to provide recommendations to our leadership team on the best way to collate, administer, and assist in the delivery of change planning and communication across the contact centre. Your voice and recommendations will directly influence a seamless transition on our digitisation journey, whilst also increasing employee engagement.

This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term role with an organisation that embraces working from home and flexible working.


  • Support the operational execution and co-ordination of all Change Planning and Communication that affects NCC activities, teams and other relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure a focus on donor and staff satisfaction by creating one voice of the NCC in all materials and processes, including internal communications
  • Maintain and share a sound understanding of the strategic objectives and operational functions of the Lifeblood Divisions
  • Identify opportunities for improved stakeholder and donor service and act upon them

Skills & capabilities:

  • Relationship building and stakeholder communication skills
  • Planning and Project Management skills
  • Excellent business writing and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of information systems and MS Office products
  • An attitude for continuous improvement
  • Experience in using DISE or other Visual Management Software desirable
