YWCA Canberra are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team of childcare professionals. The successful applicant will be working within an organisation that values and respects the important work of providing quality early education and care services to the Canberra Community.

The Children’s Services Administration Officer reports to the Children’s Services Senior Accounts Officer and is responsible for the accurate and timely processing and recording of all accounts, enrolments, information and payments for early childhood and school age care programs.

 

About You:

 

The ideal candidate has experience in an administration environment along with a passion for providing excellent customer service to our clients and stakeholders.

Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • A high level of interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills with the ability to liaise with both internal and external clients
  • An ability to work independently and co-operatively within a team
  • An ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of appropriate confidentiality and sensitivity to clients’ needs
  • Demonstrated experience using QikKids or ability to use or learn such programs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
