We are looking for an APS 5 Level Coordinator, Digital Preservation who will demonstrate our Business and Leadership Functions, uphold the APS and Library Values.
This role is responsible for analysing data from the Library’s digital preservation system to identify digital preservation issues and risks, investigating them and proposing and implementing solutions to resolve or mitigate them; designing and implementing digital preservation workflows and overseeing and assisting Library staff with processing digital collection material into the Library’s digital preservation system and; undertaking applied research on file-format support and implementing the NLA Digital Preservation Knowledge Base.
The incumbent will have a sound general knowledge and will provide their technical expertise on complex issues, working across a broad range of activities that potentially relate to the work of different program areas and/or stakeholders.
