About the Judicial College
The College exists to inform and enrich the Victorian judiciary. Everything we do, whether in-person or online, is designed to impart deep knowledge and insight. We support judges, magistrates, coroners, and tribunal members to develop the skills they need to perform at their best.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director Judicial Information Services, the Digital Publishing Assistant attends to the publishing of approved legal content on the College's websites using a variety of content management systems.
With meticulous attention to detail, the Digital Publishing Assistant reviews legal content for formatting, layout and functionality, and ensures that citations comply with the Australian Guide to Legal Citation.
This is a casual role and it is expected that an average of 2-3 days of work per month will be required with the possibility of more days on occasion. The position would be well suited to a law student or others with an interest in the justice system and a desire to work flexibly.
About you
You have a background or interest in the law or legal practice, and ideally have an understanding of the Australian Guide to Legal Citation (4th edition). You have an aptitude for technology and the ability pick up new systems quickly.
Critically, you have a strong eye for detail, with the ability to prioritise work and maintain quality standards despite tight timeframes.
