About the role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play an important role to support and empower people with disability to live independently in a group home, in the community, and to develop skills and achieve their individual goals.

We are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our Hobart team on a Casual basis.

These roles will require successful applicants to be available and willing to work within a 24/7 roster that includes regular shift work, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate III in Disability, Community Services or similar
  • Demonstrated Experience supporting People with Disability, complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Ability to maintain clients privacy and confidentiality
  • Ability and willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster including weekends, nights and public holidays

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and hold Tasmanian Working With Vulnerable People Registration and NDIS Worker Screening.

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations may be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.
