About the Role
The Manager, Pay and Conditions is a key member of the Human Resources team as well as the People and Business Solutions Branch leadership team. This role works closely with key stakeholders to support and uplift organisational operational objectives, through the delivery of effective and efficient human resources services and solutions.
The role leads a team that undertakes a range of operational human resource functions including accurate and timely processing of payroll entitlements for approximately 450 employees each fortnight, HRIS administration, organisational data and integrity, interpretation and application of legislative, enterprise agreement and policy driven employment conditions, personnel administration and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the role include team management and planning, operations management, stakeholder engagement, management of complex and high risk matters, subject matter advice to senior leadership and input into HR policy and remuneration matters.
Some of the key priorities relevant to this role include supporting the maturity of the agency’s recently implemented hybrid and remote working model, leveraging existing technologies for increased process efficiency, safe guarding and developing the integrity and efficacy of workforce related data, continuously improving the user experience, ensuring AUSTRAC has a positive risk approach for managing relevant environmental factors, and preparing for the agency’s corporate systems to move onto a centralised SAP platform (GovERP).
