As our new Executive Manager Library & Family Services, you will be accountable and responsible for the overall management, compliance and service delivery of the Library and Family Services area. You will be expected to deliver on City of Darwin's strategic directions including the Library Strategy 2020 - 2024 "Libraries for People" to ensure services and future direction are planned and delivered to better serve Community needs. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team this position is expected to contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic directions, City of Darwin's policies and procedures and ensures organisational effectiveness, agility, and compliance.

Who are we looking for?

You're a natural-born leader, a mentor and an advocate. You're also thorough, a meticulous planner, and have an innate ability to solve problems without feeling overwhelmed. You're no stranger to the Library / Community Services sectors and have at least 5 years' senior management experience. And your Bachelor of Arts (Librarianship and Corporate Information Management) / Bachelor of Community Development or equivalent relevant qualification will be highly regarded.

At City of Darwin, we offer competitive remuneration with generous leave entitlements. This position has a commencing base salary of $127k per annum, which is negotiable depending on skills, knowledge and experience.
