About IWC Children’s Services
Children’s Services provides high quality child education and care services for children aged between six weeks and twelve years. They do this through delivering Long Day Care, Pre-school, Family Day Care, Before and After School & Vacation Care and Occasional Care services to our community in accordance with all relevant legislation and providing a child safe organisation.
About IWC Family Day Care
Inner West Council Family Day Care (FDC) is a local government- based service which has been operating since 1976. The service supports up to 45 qualified educators to provide regulated education and care services for children in an approved home or venue as an alternative to a traditional centre-based service.
Our FDC Coordination Unit mentors, guides and maintains compliance through regular visits to the registered educators' services. The educators are part of our FDC community where they support each other. The FDC Coordination Unit also supports the professional development of educators through play sessions, resources, training and events.
About the role
This role is required to provide high level financial and general administrative support to the FDC Service Co-ordinator, Coordination Unit and up to 45 registered sole trader educators to ensure the service meets its regulatory obligations.
We are seeking someone with strong administrative skills and the ability to communicate with educators, parents and families, staff, and management both written and verbally. To succeed in this role, you will have current knowledge in the Early Childhood Education sector and who can deliver excellence in customer service, promote FDC and build positive community connections.
This is a permanent opportunity at 28 hrs/week

$47,525.50 to $56,555.61 p.a. (based on 28 hrs/week) + Super
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
A class C NSW Driver’s Licence, Proda Registration and valid working with children check are also required for this role.
