Critical role investigating and mitigating risk to ensure optimal performance of QLD’s high voltage transmission network. We currently have 1x permanent and 1x temporary position (24 months duration) available.
As a Fault Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in investigating network issues and providing incident management advice to key stakeholders of Powerlink’s high voltage transmission network, to ensure optimal restoration of networks in an efficient and effective manner. You will perform agile risk assessments taking into consideration factors including safety, system security and financial and customer implications, to ensure risks are mitigated.

To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience in the operation of electricity transmission and operational technology networks, together with a tertiary qualification in electrical engineering, or a lesser qualification coupled with extensive relevant industry experience.
Your success in the role will also rely on your strong skills in acquiring and analysing data, observing connections and relationships, identifying critical issues and synthesising information in order to drive commercially pragmatic business outcomes within agreed timeframes.
