About the Business
At TasNetworks, we own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, efficient and reliable electricity supply to more than 285,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We are Powering a bright future, it's in our DNA;
You will have experience and knowledge of financial analysis with tertiary qualifications in either commerce, finance or economics; or significant work experience in a similar role. This includes competency in computer systems and their application to financial analysis and modelling, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Must demonstrate the understanding of commercial, economic, finance and accounting principles. The addition of an understanding of economic regulation and the financial/commercial operating environment of a regulated monopoly would be advantageous to this position.
You must be a team player with sound communication and interpersonal skills. You must able to translate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders and deliver within tight time frames.
