HR Systems & Technology Consultant

We are currently in the market for two HR Systems & Technology Consultants to join our People & Inclusion team, preferably in Sydney but will consider candidates from Melbourne for the right skillset.

Your Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to provide HR system support and ensure improvements in systems. The role will also be responsible to support in building configuration and testing, implementation and governance of new technologies acquired in the people technology architecture and project managing transformation as required.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Deliver transactions / data integrity and respond to queries at agreed service levels, in defined periods and with well governed lens.
• Implement service delivery improvements to improve client experience.
• Develop test scenarios and manage integration & UAT testing phases for projects and system changes.
• Ensure knowledge and skills of HR systems is maximised to be able to support and provide advise on best practice and impacts across all HR systems.
• Ensure HR systems are maintained at level that achieves operational efficiency.
• System training as required
• Document and update quick reference guides, SOP’s and technical documentation (as required) and ensure these are accessible to users as appropriate
• Use of project management methodologies, action plans, project plans, technical and specialist expertise in P&I and the broader business to achieve the right objectives for project in terms of implementation, documentation, adoption and change management outcomes.
• Actively design, propose and deliver change management activities to support analyst programs of work.
• Drive continuous improvement by continually challenging, reviewing and analysing processes that P&I manage or are impacted by.
• Investigate new uses for existing systems and push boundaries to further develop process improvement and operational efficiency.

How are you extraordinary?

We are looking for people in this role with a passion for and / or experience in the following areas

• Tertiary qualification/Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline HR or IT. Professional experience in a system admin or analyst role without qualifications acceptable.
• Experience in HRIS systems and processes, ServiceNow (Query Management System), PageUp Recruitment, Smart Recruiters, SAP HR/Payroll module, SAP Organisational Management, Contract Express and SuccessFactors.
• Experience in System configuration, delivering system changes and providing system support
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, HRIS administrator, System Analyst or other relevant experience.
• Awareness of HR best practices and market knowledge of HR technology.
• Understanding of HR best practices.
