About the Role
The IT Support Officer is responsible for the effective support of all IT Head Office functions across the Knowles Group and Arcare organisations in addition to the support of internal and external IT resources.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Liaise with 3rd party providers
  • Resolve and triage requests to the Arcare service desk
  • Install, configure, support and maintain all IT hardware, software, and systems
  • Provide technical support across all sites, in person or remotely
  • Repair and replace equipment as required
  • Test new technology
  • Database and systems support
  • Active Directory and Office 365 support
  • PABX phone system and mobile phone support
  • Nurse call systems support
  • CCTV and access control system support
  • Project work

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated IT knowledge and minimum 12 months experience in an IT support position preferably in the aged care sector
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases and Windows based systems
  • Experience in the maintenance and support of various hardware
  • Experience with the installation and maintenance of network infrastructure
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to prepare and present reports for senior management.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills in working with employees, residents and families from diverse backgrounds and cultures with a demonstrated commitment to quality service provisions.
  • The capacity to work well autonomously and be a team player
  • A pro-active and energetic self-starter with a strong customer service focus
  • Current Police Check or willing to obtain
  • Australian Drivers Licence, and has access to a motor vehicle
