What is the opportunity?

Estia Health Hope Valley is looking for an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team on a Part Time basis, working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will support our residents’ and team by maintaining a safe, comfortable and home-like living environment.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to;

• Ensure general repairs and maintenance are maintained in a timely manner
• Support residents by providing quality service, displaying respect to dignity and privacy
• Varied all-round handyperson skills
• Coordinate of the maintenance program, timely reporting and administration

What do you need?

You will bring to the role your ability to operate autonomously while effectively managing and prioritising your workload;

• A relevant trade Qualification (highly regarded)
• Exceptional Maintenance/handy-person skills including proven painting experience
• Excellent communication skills with an understanding and empathy
• Experience liaising with trades-persons and contractors
• Commitment to Work Health and Safety principles, including chemical safety standards
