The opportunity
Due to internal moves we are currently recruiting for a Manager Quality Innovation and Performance to join our high performing and supportive quality team in a permanent full time basis. Reporting to the Senior Manager Quality you will contribute to Airbus Australia Pacific's (AAP) success by planning, managing and executing Quality projects within agreed time, quality and cost parameters. You will be a strong people leader with the ability to build and motivate team members to meet project milestones and goals.

Specifically you will:

• Support the effectiveness and implementation of the QMS across AAP
• Ensure proactive and preventative compliance strategies / programs are developed to improve compliance and conformance
• Ensure you meet customer needs and regulatory requirements, considering internal / external risks and opportunities
• Accountable for strong relationships, externally with the Customer and Industry Partners; and internally within the matrix organisation
• Accountable for the delivery of projects On Time, On Quality, On Cost
• Application of project management framework

About you
To be successful in this role you will need to live the Airbus Values, work with passion and determination, able to work to tight deadlines in an environment of continuous improvement. The skills and experience suited to this role:

• Minimum 5 years' aviation experience (or other highly regulated industry) including at least 2 years' experience as staff of a regulatory organisation
• In-depth knowledge and experience in the application of Quality Management Standards (e.g. ISO 9001, AS/EN 9110)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in managing Quality projects
• In-depth knowledge of Quality tools and techniques
• Diploma of Project Management or equivalent
• Lead Auditor certification through an accredited training organisation
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar; or relevant equivalent experience
