Your role in our future.
The Pathology Department at Peter Mac seeks an enthusiastic, suitably experienced Admin Officer to join the current team in a part-time capacity (3 days per week). Previous experience in Pathology Administration along with strong customer service skills are an essential requirement for this busy role which provides high quality Admin support for the Pathology Department. Strong time management, communication and IT skills are also desirable.

Essential: Greater than one year's experience working in Pathology Administration
Essential: Proven strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients and staff
Essential: Proven ability to work calmly under pressure with excellent time-management skills and the ability to multitask
Essential: Excellent understanding of medical terminology especially in the context of oncology and histopathology
Desirable: Demonstrated skills in the use of IT systems in a healthcare setting (especially Lab information systems). AUSLAB experience advantageous
