The Opportunity*
Our team is going through an exciting growth phase and as a result we are looking for a strong Administrator with a passion for Human Resources to join our busy LifeFlight People and Culture (P&C) team for a permanent Part-Time position. In this position we have the flexibility for you to work 2.5 days or work these hours across 5 days of the week with a combination of onsite and remote work – If that sounds appealing to you? This role is not for the faint hearted. Reporting to the P&C General Manager you will be busy juggling a variety of HR responsibilities including assisting the Senior Medical Recruitment Officer and issuing employment contracts through to filing – you will have plenty of opportunity to be exposed to all areas of the employment lifecycle.

You will also be supporting the LifeFlight Retrieval Medicine (LRM) Stream with administrative duties as well as managing timely monitoring and ensuring that registration renewals, credentials for all LRM Medical staff is up to date.

Other key aspects of the role include but is not limited to:

  • Administering employee documentation and records;
  • Filing & auditing employee files;
  • Monitor and manage various inboxes;
  • Assist in the Recruitment Space;
  • Successfully liaise with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Contribute and assist implementation of HR Information Systems; and
  • Perform other duties as directed by the P&C General Manager.

About You*
You will be an experienced HR Administrator who is as passionate and ready to make a difference in an ever-growing community organisation. You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment with the motivation and drive to ‘think out of the box’ and not be afraid to show initiative.

Our team needs someone who has a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively contribute to a team, whilst also able to take direction and follow instructions. Using your exceptional written and verbal communications skills you will be able to liaise with several internal and external stakeholders at a high level.

This position needs someone with:


  • Administrative dynamo coupled with a strong attention to detail and ability to get the job done;
  • Proactive, positive, with a “can do” approach;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an Administration role;
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Well developed time management and organisation skills;
  • An understanding of a complete commitment to confidentiality;
  • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy; and
  • Highly trustworthy and reliable.


  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a health and/or Not for Profit organisation.
