Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards.

What you'll be doing
Provide administrative, reception and secretarial support ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the modalities within the Radiology Department. Provide assistance to all patients/clients in an efficient manner ensuring their appointments are managed professionally, whilst working in cooperation with the Radiologists, Registrars, Senior Radiographers, Nursing and all other members of the Team.
 
All NSW Health workers are required to have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 30 September 2021 and two doses by 30 November 2021 or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
 
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
  • Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, work well under pressure and manage communications and information within a clinical and non-clinical team with excellent data entry skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate flexibility with work duties and location.
  • Ability to be self-motivated with good time management skills
  • Demonstrate experience in administrative and reception duties. Ability to provide a high level of customer service to patients, staff and other agencies across all areas. Experience in supervising, mentoring and training other Administrative staff.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring all patient information is recorded correctly for clinical and billing purposes, whilst maintaining a continuous high standard of confidentiality.
