Retail Banking Services (RBS) looks after 10 million+ customer across Australia, offering market leading products, services, and supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.

The Direct Lending business brings together all Home Lending and Consumer Lending across Direct Channels. This business has an FTE c700 and writes up to 10% of RBS proprietary business. The area is critical to the development of a seamless multi-channel operation, giving customers access to an optimised lending experience based on how they wish to interact with RBS, whether over the phone or digital assist.

 

Do work that matters

 

The Site Support Assistant provides high-level administration and operational support to the Site Support Manager and will also work closely with Senior Managers, as well as the Executive Manager across all Sites. The Site Support Assistant and Site Support Manager play crucial parts in the success of the Site along with supporting Direct Lending-wide initiatives.

 

The role performs administration tasks, reporting, and property support and will play a lead role in site Risk and Compliance deliverables.

 

More specifically your duties will include

  • Reconciliation and follow-up of Operational reports and associated suspense accounts

  • Liaising with Talent Acquisition and supporting the Onboarding of new recruits

  • Tasks pertaining to the on boarding of new and returning colleagues which will include the ordering of hardware, system access requests as well as the coordination and conducting of employee CARES surveys

  • Reporting any property faults to facilities management

  • Ordering of stationery

  • Establishing and maintaining site staff distribution lists

  • Completion of centralised Safety Calendar Activities (First Aid Kit Supplies, Fire & Safety Checklists)

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant BU Stakeholders

  • Event management and travel management when required

  • Prior experience in similar administrative role

  • Strong operational and administrative skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Ability to adapt to change dependant on needs

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship building skills

  • Passionate team member who is driven to excel customers’ expectations
