This exciting newly developed role is your opportunity to bring your Wellbeing and Return to Work experience to our Wodonga Council People and Workplace team.
The primary objective of the Wellbeing and Return to Work Officer is to coordinate the injury and illness prevention initiatives, injury and illness management, return to work processes and claims management for ill and injured employees who have sustained work related or personal injury or illness. The role will act as the primary liaison between injured or ill workers, their supervisor, treatment providers and insurers.
The position will establish effective partnerships across the organisation and keep up-to-date on workers compensation legislation and best practice strategies and systems.
