What's the Job?
The Workforce Intake Coordinator role is one that works with a team to achieve the end end objective of providing support to our clients to achieve the goals outlined in their NDIS Plans. This position involves engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including support workers, participants, case managers, families, government agencies and etc.

The Workforce/Intake Coordinator role is a multi-dimensional role with a focus on both service delivery, growth and administration. The role will support areas of the Western and Grampians Region.

What we need from you:
> Awareness and demonstrated commitment to principles of Person Centered care;
> Previous experience in support coordination in a community setting;
> Demonstrated experience in the use of a Client Management System.
> Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a member of a professional team
> Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport;
> Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse group;
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
> Proficient in the use of computer software: Word, Excel, Internet and email;
> Current Victorian Driver’s licence.

What would be great to have?
> Knowledge of client data bases e.g. Alayacare;
> Tertiary qualifications in relevant health/disability/social sciences;
> An ability to speak a community language/s;
> Experience working in a similar capacity in a community based not-for-profit organisation.

Selection Criteria
Essential: Outline any experience in rostering and service co-ordination.
Essential: Please explain your experience in working with a team of support workers (or similar group) and preparing work rosters?
Essential: What rostering and/or client databases you have used in the past?
Essential: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and well developed skills in the use of computer software: MS Office Suite and Alayacare.
Essential: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse group.
Essential: Demonstrated commitment to working with people in an encouraging and supportive manner according to the principles of person centred planning
Desirable: Capacity to negotiate for supports and/or services that are identified in the planning process
Desirable: Understanding of the Disability / Aged Care section and its social, economic health and cultural impact
