Civil Construction Trainer – FIFO or DIDO

My client is a Safety, Training, and Risk Compliance service provider for the Construction, Infrastructure, and Rail Industry with a focus on WHS Best Practices.

My client provides a range of services facilitated by Industry Professionals to assist businesses in meeting their Legislative and Duty of Care requirements relating to Workplace Health & Safety.

With several projects, my client is looking for trainers and assessors for work in the ACT and all over NSW that hold the Cert III in Civil Construction.

The work can vary from Project-based courses to school and pre-employment programs. We mainly provide site-based training, with some training conducted in our training centers in Cooma NSW and Mitchell ACT.

Work Location: ACT & NSW

The Role:
The position is Fly In – Fly Out, out of Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane on an 8:6 roster.

About yourself:
We are looking for a experienced training professional with a Cert IV in TAE and Cert III in Civil Construction and fantastic people skills and knowledge in the Construction and Infrastructure Industries. You will need the following

A can-do attitude and personality

Ability to multi-task in a busy RTO

Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required

Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills

Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Demonstrate experience as a Trainer and hold current industry skills and understand VET Compliance requirements

Experienced in the Construction and Infrastructure Industry

Key responsibilities:
Deliver training and assessment services

Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets the RTO regulations

Assist with site preparation for the theory and practical based components

Supervise student’s behaviors and provide engaging and motivating training

Perform other general duties as required

Maintain a high level of compliance

Essential criteria:
Recent work experience within the infrastructure, construction and/or civil industries

Must hold TAE40116 Cert IV Training & Assessment qualification (or equivalent)

Must hold valid Australian Drivers license

Have worked as a Trainer and Assessor for an RTO

Must hold Statements of Attainment or qualifications equivalent to Certificate III in Civil Construction

You will need to be an Australian Resident
