Rockdale Public School has an enrolment of 368 students including 89% of students from a language background other than English. Approval to teach primary library (K-6) or currently undertaking Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education including the Oliver Library Management System.
Capacity to manage a modern library that will function as an inquiry centre for all students, promoting critical and creative thinking, developing research skills, digital literacy and a love of literature.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues to deliver explicit, innovative teaching across different KLAs in a stimulating library learning environment.
Proven ability to strengthen student engagement in your lessons and build positive relationships with members of the school community.
