Turks have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our high performing, award-winning and rapidly growing Employers Liability team.

With a team of 50 staff across our 4 office locations, the successful candidate will work closely with our partners, lawyers and clients in Sydney to provide administrative support associated with the carriage of the solicitors' matters.

This role requires working capacity of a minimum of 4 days (30 hours) per week. Spread of hours across business hours is flexible.

Responsibilities
Reporting to a Partner and a legal secretary, you will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • opening matters on the LPG;
  • downloading and collating documents;
  • creating and organising claim files;
  • preparing correspondence, such as drafting letters and other word processing, etc;
  • diary management, including diarising hearing dates and processing of documentation for court actions;
  • compiling and sending reports to clients;
  • liaising with clients as required; and
  • other administrative duties as required by the Group.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will:

  • have completed your Higher School Certificate;
  • have an outstanding level of attention to detail;
  • demonstrate your reliable and responsible nature;
  • have superior time management and organisational skills;
  • be an approachable and responsive team member; and
  • demonstrate ability to work in a professional services firm conducting work of a legal nature, however is not essential.

In addition, you will:

  • conduct work to the service level expected of our clients and firm;
  • be proactive, with the capability to make suggestions to improve processes and the subsequent outcomes; and
  • be a highly motivated and driven.
