VenuesWest is seeking Casual Event Operation Officer’s, with multiple positions available to work primarily at HBF Park in Perth, with the opportunity to work across our portfolio of VenuesWest venues in similar roles.

As a Casual Event Operations Officer, you will be assisting the Venue Operations Coordinator and Operations Manager with the set up and pack down of HBF Park for concerts and/or international sporting competitions on a continuous casual basis. There are various shifts available dependant on the event load with additional ad-hoc shifts available outside of events at the venue including:

  • Bump In – The opening of the venue and event spaces, preparation of the venue prior to the Gates Opening for the event including, gate infrastructure, signage etc.
  • Bump Out – The closing of the venue at the end of the event including the pack down and storage of all equipment or possible re-set if there is an event is the following day including assuming Chief Warden responsibilities
  • Captains Run’s – Coverage at the venue for a sporting training session including assuming Chief Warden responsibilities after venue hours
  • Non-Event Day – Ad-hoc duties around the venue

Desirable Qualifications (but not essential):

  • White Card / CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry or the ability to undertake for the first concert event when required
  • Warden Training / PUAFER008 Confine small emergencies in a facility and PUAFER005 – Operate as Part of an Emergency Control Organisation or the ability to undertake
  • Chief Warden Training / PUAFER006 Lead an emergency control organisation or the ability to undertake
  • Drivers Licence

As a Casual Event Operations Officer, you will receive $33.53p/h. When assuming the Chief Warden responsibilities, the pay rate will be increased for the duration of your shift and will receive $41.52/hr plus superannuation.
