The Armadale Line Upgrade Alliance (ALUA), comprising of Acciona Construction Australia, BMD Constructions, WSP Australia and AECOM Australia, will deliver the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal project, which will remove level crossings along the Armadale Line at Mint Street, Oats Street, Welshpool Road, Hamilton Street and Wharf Street and replace them with elevated rail as well as several elevated stations along the alignment.

  • Newly created role; Permanent Position; Manage internal communications
  • Burswood based – Major rail infrastructure project
  • 8.30am to 5pm; Local parking; Supportive and collaborative project team

As a result, we are currently recruiting for a Communications and Marketing Officer to work with our team on a full-time basis. Reporting to our Project Services Manager, this role will coordinate and deliver the internal project communications for over 300 staff and a large direct and subcontract workforce.

What can you expect in this role:

  • Develop and maintain the projects overall branding and style guides
  • Develop project document templates
  • Create and publish internal communication content including newsletters, project updates, marketing material
  • Review and revise project specific online training and induction content
  • Assist in the development, issuing and collation of internal surveys
  • Managing feedback to revised and tailor future content and implement new initiatives
  • Assist in organising and managing external community stakeholder events, meetings, expos and briefings
  • Review and edit reports, presentations and collateral as required

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within a communications and marketing role will be highly advantageous
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications or marketing
  • Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal stakeholders;
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve;
  • Proven communicator who can lead and influence.

Great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must backed by strong communications skills.
