The role Reporting to the Manager, System Support Services, Office of the Director-General you will be responsible for assisting in the development of a comprehensive briefing package to support the Director-General and the Minister for Health and Ambulance Services for the annual estimates process. This includes providing professional and timely advice and assistance to senior staff on matters relating to the annual estimates process, proactively managing the coordination of briefings and other documents to support the annual Estimates process.
Additionally, you will support the coordination of secretariat services for meetings and other forums established to support senior executive officers, the Director-General and the Minister.
The successful personTo be successful in the role, you will demonstrate high level organisational skills evidenced by experience in providing project and/or administration support. You will have knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, the public health system. You can establish priorities, act proactively and manage a diverse range of activities to ensure deadlines are met in an environment with tight timeframes. You will possess attention to detail and have experience in the preparation and review of briefing materials to ensure that documentation is of a high quality and complies with relevant procedural requirements.
In addition to this, you will demonstrate high level communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to liaise effectively with a broad cross-section of staff across the Queensland Health system.
