Hygiene Team Member/Cleaner

Our Opportunity
Located at our West Richmond site in South Australia, the Hygiene Team Member/Cleaner is an integral member of the Manufacturing team. The incumbent will make a strong contribution to a high performing production team and team culture within Goodman Fielder.
Working Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day, total 25 hours per week. Flexible start time.

Key responsibilities

• Co-operate with and participate in all programs that ensure a safe and healthier working environment, for example, legislative required training (LOTO, manual handling, noise awareness, chemical usage & handling etc)
• Complete all cleaning and hygiene activities as per the site Master Cleaning and Sanitation schedule.
• Keep timely and accurate records of all cleaning and sanitation activity.
• Ensure cleaning activities comply with all food safety and quality procedures i.e. loose item controls, foreign material controls and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and tools i.e. floor scrubbers, high pressure cleaners, foamers, foggers to high level of operation and report any deficiencies to the Maintenance team as required.
• Participate in all mandatory training relating to site Food Safety, Quality, cleaning and hygiene and chemical handling.
