About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join UnitingSA’s Leisure and Lifestyle team as our Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader. You’ll be part of a highly motivated team focused on achieving positive community outcomes and making a difference in the lives of older people. The role is offered on a permanent, part-time basis.
What will you be doing?
Working collaboratively with the Leisure and Lifestyle Team you will provide leadership and guidance to the Leisure and Lifestyle Officers, ensuring that residents maintain an optimal level of social and physical function. You will also be involved with recruiting volunteers to assist with the resident lifestyle programs.
About You:
You will demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work as a member of a team or autonomously when needed. You must have a minimum Certificate 4 in Leisure and Lifestyle or extensive relevant experience.
The successful candidate will hold a current National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain one) and provide evidence of up to date COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations.
