We have part-time positions available for claims consultants to join our Motor Claims department based in Perth.
This role is predominantly working from home with the requirement to come into the office 1 day a month or if you’re having IT issues.
Joining an existing team, you will be responsible for the management of claims post lodgement until the closure stage of the Motor Claims process. This role will see you managing claims in a professional and proactive manner whilst ensuring that legislative and policy requirements are followed. You will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders where required and uphold the IAG values.
Start date: 10.02.2023. Monday to Friday, between 8.30am – 5.00pm. Part Time Permanent Roles.
Training: Full time hybrid training will begin from the start date, Monday to Friday and will run for 6-8 weeks. We do require your commitment to the full-time training. WFH training will run from 9am to 5.30pm AEST and Office training will run from 9am to 5.30pm local time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Applying your expertise and ensuring alignment with policy and procedures
- Managing inbound and outbound calls within a high-volume call centre environment
- Working towards KPIs to deliver a high standard of claims management that results in effective outcomes
- Working autonomously and in a high achieving team environment
- Develop and maintain a consistent approach in your decision making, ensuring a fair and professional outcome for our stakeholders
- Interacting with customers over the phone as well as online via our future live Webchat function
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrate strong technical experience in the insurance claims industry is advantageous
- A solid understanding of customer service and passion for helping people in times of need
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- Confident in using multiple different systems and platforms simultaneously
- High attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team
- Highly motivated, reliable and demonstrated decision-making skills
