We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated, team orientated and conscientious staff for a variety of roles within Public Enquiry Service. Successful applicants will undertake a broad range of administrative duties to ensure the smooth running and effective delivery of services including national name and fingerprint police checks, crime and traffic incident reports to support community safety and prevention.

Your duties will include:

  • Providing accurate, prompt and professional advice and service to external and internal customers.
  • Checking and processing police record requests.
  • Assessing accuracy and completeness of information in accordance with established standards and procedures.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Good oral and written communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive, private and confidential information.
  • Experience in data entry and application processing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to accurately maintain and use a range of electronic and manual records and information systems.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • Various full time, ongoing and fixed term positions available.
  • This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
  • In accordance with organisational policy, all Victoria Police employees are required to be fully vaccinated (including a booster vaccination) against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exception. As such your employment with Victoria Police is subject to providing evidence of your vaccination status.
